‘Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.’ Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Travelling across the Atlantic really gave me time to think.
Thinking of things left behind and things ahead.
Will this journey change my life?
Will it remain the same?
Town, city and hamlet lights pathways to my destiny.
Suddenly, deathly darkness descends,
Pouring rain and driving wind rock the car.
Stop! I want to get off. I can’t bear this biting cold.
But forward I must go and face my future.
