What have you been putting off doing? Why?
My friend lost her 14 year old son to cancer last year. We got married in the same year. We both had problems conceiving and our joy was overwhelming when we finally had our one and only child. We didn’t see each other often but when we did we would talk about the progress each child was making.
I struggled to talk to her after his death because she would ask about my daughter and I felt worried about saying the wrong thing.
I am on my way to a Memorial service with my husband and daughter. It’s time to find the words to express my sorrow for her devastating loss.
