What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

I am a teacher on a long summer break. In this down time I recognise how little time I take for self care, health and well being. This summer I have taken on Cancer Research 100 aquat challenge. The challenge is appealing to me for a number of reasons:
1. I will not sleep through the whole holiday.

2. I don’t need anyone else for motivation.
3. I feel like I have more energy to complete tasks I’ve put off for a long time.
4. I’m raising money for a good cause (a charity close to my heart) we have all been affected by cancer whether personally or a family member.

5. Whilst taking part in the challenge, I stop doom scrolling and start to think positively about the day ahead.

Finally, I want to get outside and get some much needed vitamin D so I have set up a local bike club. Our first challenge starts on Saturday morning with 4 members.
