Where would you go on a shopping spree?
I’m currently in a large shopping centre in East London and it is an example of how not to do shopping. The entrance into the shopping centre is always overcrowded, overwhelming, and extremely noisy.

The shopping units are really small so you’re always bumping into people. You can’t take your time and look to see if it’s what you really want.

As for the food court on the ground floor, it is a rugby scrum to get a chair, never mind food, which is deep fried rubbish.

Today, I’m shopping with my 13 year old daughter and her friend. I promised I would give them time to shop without me, but shopping by myself in this melee proved too much for me. I have taken refuge in Costa.

There was a time when I could happily shop all day with my sister. We would be ladened down with shopping bags, we would, then get up for round 2. Is it an age thing? Do you get to the point when you have everything? Or are the bills so huge you have to hold back on spending.
Anyway, my time in Costa by myself meant I had the space to write. My life has become so busy. Perhaps spending time buying more stuff is superfluous to requirement in our time poor lives.
